Frank Hester, Area Director
My name is Frank Hester and in 1998 I embarked on an amazing journey by answering the Lord’s call to ministry with the Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA). For 9 years I served as the FCA Area Director in Augusta, GA pouring into the lives of athletes and coaches. In 2007 my family and I moved to Lexington, SC where I have served in several different positions within the FCA ministry including: Director of Coaches Ministry, Chaplain for Gamecock Football for 9 seasons and I currently serve as Area Director.
As an FCA Area Director I am responsible for recruiting, training, developing and serving staff and volunteers to increase the capacity of the FCA ministry. An Area Director also functions as the financial manager and cultivates donor relationships to ensure the resources are available to fulfill the ministry mission and vision. I work alongside staff and volunteers to engage, equip and empower coaches and athletes by ministering “to and through the coach” via these ministry strategies: Coaches Bible Studies, Team Character Coaches, Devotions, Campus and community Huddles, Deepening relationships, Discipleship, One on one meetings, Camps, Retreats & clinics. Please do not hesitate to reach out to me at firstname.lastname@example.org or (706)339-0568.
Mike Millington, Area Director
As of July 2018, my family and I have been serving our great God in the Northern Midlands of South Carolina! We moved to the beautiful state of South Carolina from the beautiful state of Minnesota. We are thrilled for the opportunity to share the Gospel with coaches and athletes in Fairfield County, Newberry County, and the Lex-Rich 5 School District portions of Lexington and Richland Counties. Feel free to contact me with any questions about our ministry that you may have at email@example.com or (612)804-3860. You can also find out more at https://www.northernmidlandsfca.org/. Thank you for joining our FCA team.
Ervin Mack, Area Director
I am from Winnsboro, SC and was an athlete throughout my entire adolescence. My most memorable athletic experience was playing football at Fairfield Central High School. I went on to further my education and football journey at Appalachian State University and Norfolk State University, where an injury brought my football career to an end. While transitioning from the game of football, I obtained my degree from Coker College. I was an athlete and coach for most of my life and am currently an Assistant Principal at A.C. Flora High School in Richland County School District One.
When my wife and I came to Christ, we made it our mission to not only meet others with the Gospel, but also show them Jesus is truly the light and hope. It is my passion to lead my family to be the hands and feet of Jesus. I reside in Columbia with my lovely wife, Ashley, and our three wonderful children, Siah, Jackson, and Alani.
This is an unbelievable opportunity I have to serve on staff with FCA in Richland County! My desire as Area Director is to see Richland County transformed by Jesus Christ through the influence of coaches and athletes. The Lord has made it very clear His desire is for this ministry to share the Gospel and to empower coaches and athletes and all whom they influence with His truth. My role is to walk alongside others and mentor and disciple them so they can experience God in His fullness. Please do not hesitate to reach out to me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Neil DuBose, Field Ambassador
Hi, my name is Neil. I became an FCA Field Ambassador in 2020, though I have been serving as a volunteer for many years prior to that. I have seen God transform the lives of coaches and athletes with the powerful combination of sports and the Christian faith. Through our huddles, Bible studies, and other activities, coaches and athletes become growing, authentic Christ-followers. My goal is to engage, equip, and empower the coaches and athletes in Clarendon, Kershaw, Lee, and Sumter Counties. I’m so thankful God brought us together to partner in this work. Please do not hesitate to reach out to me at email@example.com or 803.316.6952.
Earl Humes, Area Director
Hi, my name is Earl Humes. Since I started with FCA in November of 2002, I’ve seen God transform the lives of coaches and athletes through sports and the Christian faith. As we engage in ministries like One Way 2 Play Drug-Free, Fields of Faith, PRO-Pastors Reaching Out, Coaches/Students Bible Studies, Chapels, Huddle Meetings, and other activities, we have been able to impact the lives of many coaches and athletes. As a result, many of them are now authentic Christ-followers. My goal is to engage, equip, and empower the coaches and athletes in the Bamberg-Calhoun-Orangeburg Tri-County Area. We want to impact the lives of those affiliated with our local middle schools, high schools, universities, and travel sports teams. I’m so thankful God brought us together to partner in this work. Please contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org or at 803-707-1197.
David Hamilton, Area Director
I have devoted the rest of my life and career to seeing coaches and athletes impacted by Jesus Christ. I want to engage, equip and empower these coaches and athletes to use their influence on and off the field of play to have an impact for Jesus on their schools, families, communities and churches in the Edgefield, Saluda, Aiken and Barnwell counties.
I am excited for this calling on my life. I can’t wait to watch this faith-walk play out in the arena of FCA and all that God is doing world-wide in this amazing ministry. Please feel free to reach out to me at email@example.com or 803.341.0411.
